Nepal’s new PM says will only serve for 6 months, urges 'cooperation' after deadly protests
Nepal’s first female prime minister, Sushila Karki, took office on Sunday and vowed to only stay in the role for the next six months. She replaces Khadga Prasad Oli, who was forced to resign and flee his official residence amid violent youth protests over corruption. “We have to work according to the thinking of the Gen Z generation,” Karki said.
